Met up with Ping, Junee and QL to watch the Feng Yun Movie Marathon.

Though i must say the second movie is shit except for its rather cool but sometimes overused CG effects, the original first instalment still doesn't fail to entertain. We all like the first one better XD. Its old, classic and cheesy, but nonetheless still good with a flowing story. 11 years ago, we all thought that was cool. But was the villian's daughter such a TRAMP???? i really didn't remember, but the whole cinema apparently agrees. And cloud, LOL, so STONED. Hahaha!XDXD Kinda makes me wanna buy the VCD, so i can watch it again 5 years down the road?

Nothing this week, except that i earned $60 for jap translations, retook jlpt 1 without studying, worrying that i forgot to shade for a question on my listening paper(listening this year was VERY funny btw. ROFL for the last question Any otaku would get it), and that my cough is getting a bit better.

My parrot still HATES my maid. ATTACK!!!XD

Saw a pretty unique bird in my area on my neighbours TV antenna. Don't usually see such birds in my area, so I took a shot of it.

My updated display wall. We got the contractors next door to help me drill the walls to mount the plaques this morning. They're nice ppl and offered to do it FOC, but i felt paiseh and brought them some prata. I'm NOT that miser. So finally i can get the Red Queen out of its box.

On the far right. My latest purchase. Kit Rae's Exotath. It's heavy, so should be fun to swing about? I really like Kit Rae's fantasy sword designs. I want his talent. I've already decided what to get myself for my bdae next year. There's this other sword in the kit rae series that really attracted me, so i'm gonna get that.

Got this some months back but never got the chance to display it. Its Nero's Red Queen from the game Devil May Cry 4. Not many fanboys seem to like Nero cos he's kinda emo. I find it hard to comprehend cos Cloud and Sephiroth are kinda emo too but fanboys seem to love them. But well, I still like the red queen. I'm after all, not a guy XD, so swords i buy don't really need to be all that kick ass with skulls all over it. Ana likes this one XD. It can't cut you, but it's probably also heavy enough to give you a concussion.

I've nearly lost my voice due to a really really bad sore throat/cough. But that doesn't stop the money from flying out the window.
I'll post pics when i finally get to mounting it. Need to get the banglahs across the road to help me drill holes in the walls to hang the plaques.
By the way, its by Kit Rae, and Kit Rae does really kick-ass fantasy swords.

Went to check out AFA 09 on Sunday, and i guess it was pretty fun since lil bro and his friends were there. Once of them cosplayed as firefox and i kinda thought it was a cute idea of hers. We also made lil bro voice over a female character for our amusement, and yeah, kinda late, but i also bought a crisis core poster. I wanted the FF13 t-shirt...but i think that i will put off till my next Japan trip.

Though everyone's face looks the same, something new, for a change.

Heavy spendings for a white(?) christmas.
and i'm not even christian.

We're far from christmas, but we decided to do it anyway. I had some leftover takashimaya vouchers, and thank goodness i had them, cos christmas decorations cost more than the tree itself! :P



Because our christmas tree shrank from year to year when my mom was still around, this time i decided to defy her for ~~more than~~ once, and get a 5ft tree. I'm sick of green, so i got a white one instead. The tree and some of the decorations were bought from takashimaya's basement, but the bulk of the decorations were from Daiso.



I quite like the little craft-like decorations from daiso (like the little drummer above. Theres quite a variety) There are lots of unique decors that ARENT round, at daiso, but the bastards sell them all separately for $2 each so even the cheap stuff end up costing a lot after you just blindly add them to your basket. Takashimya's stuff just cost a bomb and are totally not worth the money (thats where vouchers come in handy) but there are some nice stuff there anyway. I really wanted to buy a fountain, but i'll put that off for next year. XDXDXD

Don't ask me why Zoro is there. I'll rearrange it eventually.

I AM GUNDAM. XD

I really wanted to try putting together a gundam XD. After all, the setsuna resin fig was the only G00 item in my display cabinet. So i thought, what the heck, let me just get one and be done with it.



So i bought the Gundam OO + O-riser set and tried putting it together. My eyes really hurt throughout the entire process. The GN drives at the shoulders actually can be turned on to emit a green light, but it's troublesome cause attempting to turn it out risks toppling the entire thing. The batteries were so damn hard to find cos they were only available at watch shops...-_-;;;

I've also gained the bad habit of buying more calendars than i need. I've ordered 2 calendars this year cos i couldn't decide what to get. The first one to arrive was the shueisha reborn calender. I'll collect the 2nd calendar next week. BTW, It's gonna be Pandora Hearts XD.

Apparently it glows in the dark XD.

fyi, i've never thrown away any of my old manga calendars yet. I still keep the SDK ones in my cupboard :D

Oh and i preordered Final Fantasy 13. SHAME ON ME.

Hahaha, yeah and so yesterday some chap came to my house asking if i wanted to keep his canaries cos he didn't know how to take care of em, and they had started fighting. Lots of blood, the poor birds. Of course, if you are gonna give them to me, theres no reason to refuse, though i don't understand why he had to give me both, when the most economical solution was to give one away...T_T. Either way, our house will take them in for now :) I adopt any kind of birds. Need to get a new cage again, my spare is too small for a canary. :P Oh money! There you fly again!

Its been awhile. I promise it'll be female next time. Just that "next time" will be a long time away. hahaha. so lazy, despite being a jobless bum.
I had drafted this long time ago, but i never completed it until now. I started back when my mom was in hospital and i had to stay there overnight as night watch, but ever since my mom passed on i never really went back to it until recently. I really don't know the rationale behind this pic, but all i know is that i kinda have forgotten how to go about colouring stuff again since i haven't touched painter or photoshop for just sooo long....just how do you colour face and skin again?????? i was never good at it in the first place, but now....T____T;;;

Went to join the uncles at the birdsinging club :P I should find hobbies suited for my age, but i guess since i really kinda like birds, i decided to go down to Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 to check it out.

I'm an official member of the club :P. hahahhaha. Probably the youngest there too. There are hundreds of hooks for bird enthusiasts around the open field in the area, and lots of birds. I'm surprised that so many people actually keep sharmas.. They're pretty, but look kinda hard to maintain. I couldn't get to near to the birds, cos the mere sight of the cam was enough to scare them, so i just looked around from a distance. There was a Merbok competition going on, but considering merboks are just like pigeons to me, i found it kinda weird and hard to judge which bird was better. They just, sounded like pigeons....

They say these birds were probably smuggled...O_o?? so nano ka?

Mata Puteh and Finch/Canary? The red ones really pretty isn't it (It belongs to the club president). If only my canary was half as pretty. But if it comes to singing i don't think my bird would lose. hahaha. I had wanted to bring my canary along, but i felt that i'd out of place amongst all those oriental cages. My cage is a plastic white western cage, not a brown wooden chinese cage like all those. I'd stick out like a sore thumb....>_>;;;; But they say they'll build a parrot area sometime in the future, so i'm kinda looking forward to that. Hansi could pick a few fights in the area. hahahha

I haven't tried taking photos at night (theres nothing in my area worth snapping at night -_-) but I experimented with my new cam during the day. I decided not to use any flash for both indoors and outdoors, so i must say the results were more than satisfactory.

Did a test indoor shot without flash or some figurines in my glass cabinet. With my old nikon, i would have had 10 blurred shots first before getting one as satisfactory as that. True its a little noisy, but that was with just one shot and its already wayyy better than what my old cam could have done T___T.

Also, we had jump class for horse riding today. SOOO FUN! but the taxi driver on the way back was SO WIERD. He claims he saved 4 peoples lives by just chanting and praying for them. He says he can do "christian method, budhist method, allah method, you say it, i do it cos its all from teh HEART" T_______________T;;;; sounds like a con-artist. Erika! were you okay on the last stretch of a ride back????? *worries*

Urs is thinking of what to do with her life. :P I wanna pick up some new skills. learn something new. any suggestions?

I kinda wanna work, but at the same time i don't wanna either. What is wrong with me. I think i am just rotting.

I helped out at Gallop Stables Pasir Ris on Wed cos a friend couldn't make it. We were supposed to help the special-needs children on pony rides. Really, aside from the kids, the normal volunteers themselves were rather irritating. Telling them 100X not to walk behind the pony just makes you wonder if they really can understand english cos they just IGNORE you.

Urs: excuse me, pls dont walk too close behind the pony. It may...
Woman: might kick right? (continues to walk directly behind the pony, brushing against its tail)

Now really, i was just WAITING and WISHING that an accident would really happen. I wanted people to get hurt. so irritating. Only when one gets it then they were really learn. I just wish someone ended up in hospital. its fine as long as its not me.

Also, gallop needs to change their numnahs. they're totally disgusting. Bleach them too seriously. :P

I used my taka vouchers and got myself a new Sony camera. I was intending to get a DSLR, but bought some kind of digicam instead. I'm not gonna invest in lenses...no way.... Anyway, i got a Cybershot DSC-HX1, which costs almost as much as a DSLR, but i guess was a lot more user friendly for me. And by the way, i think it rocks alot more than my slimmer Nikkon S200. I would say its pretty good for shaky hands.

I ended up joining some bird singing club called the Kebun Baru Birdsinging Club. T_T I got invited to join by the clubs president and its treasurer while i was checking out birds at the serrangoon bird shops, and i was kinda paiseh to turn them down....So sunday morning i'm gonna join the uncles(?) to watch birds sing for a while at AMK O_O. 本当にそれでいいんですかね？

Monday was my ridiculous day out to sentosa with the maid and our Missonary friend from across the road. He's carefree and absolutely gay, and sits on the outside of the bus seat and only gives way if he sees a good looking guy. Ana thinks he's really Bi, but i think she's just giving him the benefit of the doubt, they are after all, fellow countrymen.

Sentosa's beaches are still as terrible as ever. No matter how pretty the outside seems to appear, the water up close still looks like shit. I'll never swim (not that i can even swim) in singapore waters. But well, for strange reasons, romanticists like my Filipino maid seem to like beaches. I really don't understand them and their fascination with love, esp since most of them have been ditched by their husbands to make a living here. WHERES THE LUV DEAR? Stop talking to me about matchmaking cos you ppl have NO PERSUASIVE POWER whatsoever.

Anyway, being the wonderful and generous boss that i am, i sponsored the two of them to tickets for Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon. There was some kind of offer going on where we could get both tickets for $25. I wouldn't have been so kind if i had to pay the usual $22.90 for entry to each attraction. So expensive, considering how CRAPPY both attractions really are. The only thing that amused me at underwater world was taking a tourisy photo with 2 pythons, and hand feeding the stingrays. Also, the really are getting hard-sell with their tourist traps, as the tricked us with a "FREE photo taking service! FREE!". And of course, its just free phototaking, NOT free photo PRINTING. There went another $20++ dollars :P The idiot of a missionary, nearly made me pay for him, but i made him pay for his own copy. :P I paid for his entrance fee after all.

Dolphin Lagoon was just as much as a tourist trap anyway. You couldn't really see the dolphins either cos 1) the damn stage is far far away, 2) the damn stage is wooden and really dark and the dolphins seem to blend into the colour (not for ppl with bad eyesight) and 3) Whats up with that DIRTY water. You can see the head of the dolphin. Nothing else. Okay, at least the dolphins looked cute.

We also watched the parrot show, which made me want to go back home to mine. Hansiiiiii!!! She's so terrified of the construction work going on outside my house.

Sentosa. I actually think the picture looks nicer than the actual beach. :P Plus a pixelated pic from my phone of the dolphin, cos my digi cams battery was exhausted right before the start of the show.....

Judai (Leo), Ana and me. Ana lent me her plastic glasses or shades, or whatever they were, so i wore them for fun. I look like a real nerd/otaku with them, so i'll never want to wear glasses ever again.

Tourist trap. it costs $25 for 2 bloody copies of something that i could have done at home. But alright, it was fun getting it done.

After Sentosa i cabbed down to Alexandra Village.

This is Aizen and Gin-chan. :P I really wanted to call them Suzaku and Byakko. But my maid can't pronounce the names for nuts. Judai wanted to call them Sentosa and Merlion. HELL NO!
They're rather young green-cheek conures, and very cute. I was only intending to get one out of the 2 that were left in the shop. But the second one started climbing my leg when i was holding on to the initial bird that i chose, so i ended up bargaining with the shop uncle for a reasonable price for both birds...Judai is really good at bargaining. I even got the cage free. So damn paiseh somehow.

However, his conversation with the taxi driver was even more paiseh for me on the way back.

Judai: Uncle how old are you?
Uncle: already mid 50's
Judai: But you look 38!
Ana: You need glasses already lah!
Judai: uncle you should dye your hair more black, then you'll look 34
Uncle: hahaha
Judai: Uncle do you have any children?
Uncle: got, have 2 grown up already
Judai: Do they have girlfriend, or boyfriend...?
Me:.............(bad feeling)

My passport officially has a malaysian stamp now! XD
My first entry into malaysian grounds. Sorry i'm such a bumpkin and making a fuss out of this XD. But well, i can finally say that I have been to Johor (JB) and across the damn causeway. It was a last minute decision to go since my friend only messaged me last night at 11pm about it. So i had to rush pam's stuff that was required latest on monday, but monday is kind of dangerous if there are changes and the client needs it on tues. Ended up working till 4 in the morning, and had total lack of sleep by the time my friend came to pick me up today.

Somehow, it was a lot less shabby than i had expected it to be. I had always heard of stories of bribing officers, getting robbed etc, but hmmm, it seemed rather...normal? But Jes did warm me to hold on tight to my belongings. I had some sort of herbal roast duck for lunch there (YUM. my parrot would like it) and we went to some shopping centre to get DVDs. I didn't really dare get too much cause i was afraid i'd get caught at customs. But i did end up getting Persona 4, Last Remnant, and Photoshop/Indesign CS4. I got myself a spare 3D studio max as well, so i don't have to waste time and bandwidth getting it online in case i have to format my computer. Everything cost me less than S$30 so i really wish i had bought more, since i got through customs so easily on our way back (or we were just lucky they didn't ask to check my bag?) The cd shops are so out in the open its funny. Its paradise really. But there was one shop that you had to knock and they'd check you out with their security cam before their staff let you in. It was rather amusing since it looked like a vacant shop from the outside...but inside..wahhhh

JB has a lot of billboards...very unlike SG, somehow you can tell the streets and everything else are of a very different feel. Also traffic is crazyyy and the curves and bends at the entry to JB...omg its like an F1 track. I almost got car sick from it. Monday i will be at Sentosa XD what am i going to do about pam's work???

I was on Sonia on my ad hoc lesson and i crashed into Maverick. How much WORSE could my first ad hoc lesson get?? At least i got to know Abigail. She mixed me up with Tamara. XD Abi's a nice person, i think i'll go for ad hoc on thursdays from time to time now.

Also, I'm now stuck with creating marketing materials. Hopefully i wont have to do a actual size version. It's kill me and I don't have the resources. Also, I predict lots of resizing problems cos the client can't even give me an estimate size to work on. OMG. Smells of disaster. *Remembers Pixel T_T;;;* This job however makes me realise the beauty and convenience that is Macromedia Freehand! What would i do without you?

Also, because i probably won't get to go Japan this year (wouldn't seem nice to the neighbours since it's not been long since my mom passed) i decided to bring Jpn to me instead and ordered stuff from animate for christmas XD. I used my mom's credit card. Opps? hope it hasnt been cancelled yet? hahahaha. Stuff ordered include a figurine that i couldnt get through aniplay (they screwed my order), an expensive Geass poster and a naughty (but pretty) Togainu cushion. All that is just only one part of my major spending plans. X_X. I should really try for part time at gallop stables.... if erika can do it, so can i! can i? no, no, i'll scream at the kids and get screamed back by the boss...I don't want to run with the kids and horses.....but...money! I want money! Erika and I had agree that once a month will be tai-tai day, where we will eat good food and spend good money!

Also, i might go to JB tomorrow. Never been there before in my life. I hope i don't get robbed on the causewayT_T.

I bought new birds. 2 budgies and a canary. Unfortunately, they aren't as friendly as my cockatoo. If I catch em I think they might get a heart attack! But they're nice to look at anyway, and the canary is one hell of a singer. Think it's cage is too small? no worries, I won't torture the bird like that, i already got it a bigger cage. Also, the cockatoo has major jealously issues.

I named them after my neighbours.

I now can imagine myself 50 years down the road, as an old lady sitting in my porch in a rocking chair and talking to my birds, and being called the weird bird lady by the younger people staying in the neighbourhood. Then I'll start screaming vulgarities at the little monster toddlers that walk by and try to talk to my precious birdies like the child-hater that I am.

As for work, I haven't started sending out my emails yet, heck my new name card and portfolio isn't even done yet! But I'm done with the script, and doing a small label job thing for Pam and Han. Also, by side pocket money also comes from some Japanese to English translation job I'm getting from a friend at class. Its small money, but enough to buy me some comics at the very least. Maybe i should work towards this line and be a amateur translator. hahha

Recent days at home have been a total headache cos the maid is having problems. Financial problems - as always -_- whats new. First its a sister who ends up in hospital after trying to self abort a baby, then its a daughter who ends up in hospital with stomach problems. And yeah, non have enough $$$ to pay all the bills. So theres the idea of going to the loan shark where $100 becomes $200 in a month, and the maid's already taken advance salary so her pay is no more than $30 now. how's she gonna pay back i don't know. I am sick of her making calls to and getting calls from home about money problems, especially when i HAD JUST solved her work permit problem (finally i am the official boss. it sucks to be the boss. mom i understand your pain!!!) Now i am thinking maybe i should just give her some cash and make sure she doesn't go to the loan shark and cause MORE possible problems! ARGH someone get me through all this mess! I want to help and don't want to help at the same time. It's not my problem yet indirectly my problem at the same time. Why are filipino men so damn money less and useless back there? Why are they such spendaholics? How on earth do they manage their finances? Why are they always asking my maid for help when they have no money? Why is that idiot maid of mine so soft-hearted when it comes to her family? This proves that kids are nothing more than trouble and you should never have them. Let us be done with it and let the human race go extinct. All those disasters recently are probably a hint that we should all just go to hell and die. Seriously don't have kids if you can't afford them! I hate it when she gets all chummy with the neighbourhood toddlers! Keep them away from me, my parrot and my house! Don't attract them! I feel like throwing the kid in the front of a speeding garbage truck! The pink and the Cinderella dance is disgusting so please stay away from me!

As for Pam's proofreading job: what kind of a name is OCEAN????? The hell? Like Frank and Karl weren't lame enough Next should have been Tom, Dick and Harry. Oh wait, there was a Tommy. And Norton...what's that? Anti-virus? The next will be McAfee!

I feel like rotting. But i've got more proofreading to do. less than 4 more to go. Ganbare jibun. mou sukoshi da!

After practising for the last 4 nights, I can finally balance a bit on my bicycle!XDXD
Though i'm bound to get lots of muscle aches this week, i can gladly say that i think i'm making more progress than i expected. I'm still wobbly, but at least i can peddle on for more than 20 metres without falling. (if you can fall off a horse, bicycle is NOTHING! bwahhaha)

also, lately i got my maid addicted to bejewelled.. we played till 3am in the morning. we never felt that earthquake tremor thing at all.

Argh, i fell off the horse again! Oh Goldsmith Goldsmith! XDXD But i'm ever ready to challenge it again! The next time he tries to fling me off i swear i must try harder to stay on! Now i gotta sit straight, cos tomorrow my back is bound to hurt!

Anyway! not much this week Still settling the maid issues with MOM and the maid agency. It really is a very very horrible experience. No matter how i look at it, MOM just wants to make life difficult for me. I had to re-purchase the insurance and retype last minute letters and send them last minute down to the agency. Its kinda of ridiculous that i have to write and sign a letter saying that i want to take over the maid from my later mother. Isnt it obvious enough? What were all the rest of the papers and letters and appeal emails for then????

We took a cab to Hougang Green Shopping Mall that day. And we had a rather amusing driver, who did a jiggly dance in the cab to this "waiting for tonight" disco song, made us laugh, and had a figurine of Aizen on his dashboard. Apparently, it was given to him by his daughter, and he thinks he's a good guy.:P But he does know that the characters name is Aizen from the anime Bleach :D. Though he claims he'd rather be Gin T_T;;;, we call him uncle Aizen instead. XXDXD

Now how many taxis have that!XD couldnt help but take a shot. Will our next taxi have a gundam??

We also went to NTUC and got some plastic tables and chairs. We now can have evening(?) tea (afternoons are for naps) in the porch. It cost us only about $20 for everything, so we were rather amused with it..
Also, Singaporeans can be really shameless when they start stalking you and ask for extra ntuc points. One aunty stalked me and Ana from the back of the queue and insisted to wait for us at the end of the cashier for our point tickets. She tried acting friendly and said she was "pai seh" but dared to approach us cos we had a lot of items (2 trolleys to be exact). We made a few lies and gave her 3 points just to drive her away. I rather not give any really, since i dont know these ppl at all, and its still after all obtained from my money! We just told the other people who asked us for tickets that we had finished using them, though we had like 15 left. Another neighbour went directly to Ana to ask for the points, and told her there was no need to call for me. The HELL? But my Ana is a dear and told her that she can't give her anything without my permission first. That woman claimed to be my mom's friend. Heck we never even saw her at the wake.

And then.... my carnivorous parrot. BAD BIRD X(
Not only did she pull out the "full-stop" button on my laptop keyboard, she now eats meat. That's duck meat by the way. She'll climb up to our table herself to steal our food. She also enjoys to eat crab. I bet if i grilled a parrot, she'd eat it as well. I now also need to press extra hard on my keyboard to get a full-stop out.

New post, but nothing new

First off, congrats Erika for landing that part time job at gallop stables. Hope stuff works out well there for you. I'm really really tempted to email them too..>_<; but i really would need to get rid of my ~~monster~~kids phobia.

Aside from that, i went prawn fishing AGAIN on Saturday night. It was AGAIN a last minute arrangement by my friend(?) cum banking advisor. She always invites me to prawn fish with her brother and cousin and dog. hahha and its not like i mind. I quite like it. We went to the Sin Ming one this time, which is home ground for me, and maybe because of that, my luck was a lot better this time round.

The ambience for once, is ALOT better than pasir ris, and the ceilings are higher (very impt!). Pasir ris is like a kampong, but that didn't stop me from getting my fishing line stuck in the ceiling again.

my favourite part is cutting up the worms and sticking them into the hook. bwahahaha

We BBQed our catch in the end. Some of the prawns were really quite big. Erika was right, sin ming prawns are indeed bigger. We ate the bigger ones, and i brought home the tiny ones.
I tried to put one in my fish tank, but the parrot fish immediately attacked it like nobody's business...T_T. so prawns as pets are out of the question here...

Also, i slacked the whole day on sunday, so my freelance proof reading job is BEHIND TIME. BWAHHAHA.

Prawns hate me

I went for comex on friday afternoon, and i must say that even though i love these IT fairs for their good prices, i hate them as well for their crowds. Wait, i'm sure everyone else does too. I went to get myself a wireless router, so i can seriously STOP tapping off my unknown neighbour's wireless signal downstairs. I think the thing itself cost about $47, so i guess it wasn't that expensive? I also got some new memory cards for my PSP and NDS. Think i saved some money? NO. Somewhere along the way, i realised my handphone was no longer playing music. Then i looked down and realised that i had dropped the earpiece somewhere in that chaotic sea of people. I searched around the area but of course with zero luck and a headache, so i had no choice but to buy a new set for $38 at the sony ericsson both. Why did i do that? because i want them in a damn set. I cant stand the sight of my sony ericsson, matched with a pair of philips earphones, not when the phone is so damn new!

It was like sardines in a bloody can.

Also, i spent 15 mins looking for a store again that sold their external hard disks for $85. Erika asked me to help her get one first. I was an idiot and walked out of the showroom to call her, so when i went back in and i somehow got lost again. I passed by a game shop as well, but i was so impatient to leave i FORGOT to go check the games out. Just what on earth am i doing?

I later recieved a call from Jesmine asking me if i wanted to go prawn fishing the same night, so i called Ana to ask her if the timing was alright. But she got off the phone in a hurry cos the silly parrot had climbed over to the gate and was screaming her head off there.X_X

I did end up going prawn fishing again though.

However, Jesmine and her cousin always go to Pasir Ris to prawn. Thats just totally far, but it doesn't matter cos she usually drives me back. The place is called Happy Fishing Prawns Pond. How creative. :P
But i kinda like cutting up the worms as bait. Worms make good bait but...

Once again, only 11 lousy prawns in 3 bloody hours.
The only complaint i have about the place is that the ceiling is too low. I caught a prawn but jerked too high and it got tangled in the roof. I ended up losing the catch. Then, later i missed another catch and the jerk caused my entire line to get tangled in the ceiling again. This time it couldnt be saved and the uncle had to cut it free and pass me a new one... and then my line got tangled in my friends line just as she got a catch..so i caused her to lose it....uuuuuuu :((((

Saturday was riding day. Same as always. Here's a pic of Erika and Daniel.

I met up with Germaine at the club too, so she came over to my place after that. We had bak chor mee at Meng's then went over to plaza singapura where i practically only watched her play Jubeat. There was no way i was going to embarrass myself by playing in front of the entire gang of pros there. Played a bit of taiko as well, then i got a lift back from her friend. It was fun meeting up with her after so long, and we ended up complaining and bitchin about our ex-workplace again. Now with my bummer life, i think i'll be seeing more of her in the future. I came back pretty late, and stayed up till 3+ to work on the proofreading script, so i ended up fucking tired on sunday morning, and practically couldn't get productive at all.

Also, I sent Ana down to suntec to get me some stuff I forgot to get, or rather decided last minute to get.

:P Kinda ironic cause Dicota used to be a client of mine while working at my ex-company. hurhurhur. But i needed a slightly bigger bag anyway.

RED QUEEN

I made yet another indulgent purchase in the form of Devil May Cry 4's Red Queen replica.
Red Queen is Nero's (main character) sword, and yeah I find it kinda cool. I am so keeping the box. The chap at Caesar's Gun Gallery said that I was the first person he called out of 3 enquirers for the sword. Kinda feel a bit honoured. Hahhaha.
It's a pity is not full-scale, but it is a pretty sight. It'll ultimately look like this after I find a place to mount it (but not that shiny. that's just photoshop and its magic). SWEET.

Also, if they don't hurry and produce Crisis Core's Genesis sword, I'm really tempted to get one of those fantasy swords out of the Kit Rae series. Kit Rae does some really hawt sword designs. XDXD. Maybe after i get paid for Pam's translation proofreading job.

Speaking of that job. Yes i accepted, with much regret, a miserably paid freelance job where i have to proofread an english dub translated script. I practically am rephrasing the whole thing since it almost looks like it came out of some online translator like Bablefish. 马小弟 was translated as Butch (the hell, its a kid's show!)，乌龙王 was rephrased as king of stupid，风影号 was called X-frank, amongst others..I have no idea how to translate the idioms as well into context, with its tigers and monkeys. T_T.

Tonight however, was somewhat a farewell/good-luck dinner for Rachelle, who's going off to Obama land to further her studies. For some strange reason they all managed to knock off work early, and i ended up being the last cos i was buying the Red Queen at Raffles Place before meeting up. -__-. But anyway, Shokudou was a whole new experience for me. The milk flavoured noodles was quite fascinating...and i stuffed myself with sake sashimi. Everyone seemed the same, with ping going on again on how she's seeing her students get married off one by one (shes like our DMC mom), and QL was describing to us her rather amazing (but in many wrong ways) holiday experience at Angkor Wat. Also, Nat still is stuck at Han and still claiming she'll quit soon, and Su is getting married end of the year. From what i hear, Manda is having a chaotic fun life over in Aussie, and now somehow my life seems really boring... hmmmm. gotta make more outta it.
